The location history is probably the feature I use the most on the Halo collar. It’s really nice being able to see where my dog has been after he’s been wandering around the yard. That said, it kind of works when it wants to sometimes. The location can be delayed or just not very exact, which gets frustrating. It’s still useful overall, I just wish it was more consistent

My dog has definitely been rough with it and tossed it around quite a bit, but it’s still working just fine. It may show a little wear from all the abuse, but overall I’m impressed with how well it’s held up

I took the Halo Collar with us on a weekend trip i kind of assumed from how straightforward it seemed that it would be travel-friendly, and it was. It barely took up any space in my bag, and it worked just fine at the rental house. Really convenient if you’re bringing your dog along somewhere

We’ve had the Halo subscription for a while now, i’d say it’s been worth it for us. I wasn’t totally sure about paying every month at first, because subscriptions can feel like they pile up, but this is one I think we actually get use out of.
The GPS updates and fence features have been dependable so far, at least in our experience. I also really like not having extra equipment set up all over the yard. The app is simple enough to use too, not flawless, but nothing that’s really caused us a problem.
For the price, I feel like it gives us decent value and some peace of mind, which is kind of the main point. I can’t say it’d be perfect for everyone, but for our setup, I’m sure we’ll keep it going.

Got it installed in just a few minutes. Nothing fancy to explain really, I opened it up, followed the basic steps, and it was done quick. Worked out fine for me.
